<br />Once again, we appreciate the opportunity to work with the Colorado Water
<br />Conservation Board to identify the flood boundaries on one df our major
<br />waterways, the Crystal River. The mapping and text description of flood
<br />hazards in the Crystal River Valley are being incorporated in the County
<br />flood plain management program. To this end, we seek designation of the
<br />flood plain from the Colorado Water Conservation Board. May I request
<br />that we be placed on the next available agenda for Board review !!if the
<br />Crystal River Flood Plain designation?
<br />
<br />Please note that the County has made a commitment to the maintenance of
<br />the dike throughout the town of Redstone. Therefore, the local gover.n-
<br />ment will regulate in the future the less extensive flood plain area based
<br />on the continuing viability of that dike.
<br />
