The
work was authorized by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) on
October 7, 1993. Specific tasks were performed in accordance with the terms of Agree-
ment No. 92-11.06. The report was prepared for UDFCD, the City of Aurora, Arapahoe
County, and Adams County by CH2M HILL, Denver, Colorado.

1.2 Purpose

The purpose of the hydrologic analysis was to establish baseline peak discharges and
volumes in the study area for 2-,5-, 10-,50-, 100-, and 500-year storm events for
existing and future development conditions. The hydrologic results will be used in subse-
quent phases of the Outfall Systems Planning Study and FHAD for hydraulic calculations,
assessments of existing drainage facilities, and development of alternative drainage
improvement plans.

DENlOOISI83,WPS

1-1
