Box 25046
Denver Federal Center
Denver, Colorado 80225

Dear Mr. Jarrett:

Thank you for the opportunity to review your summary of flood discharg~ for
Palmer Lake, Colorado.

Our hydrologists have reviewed the summary and have the following comments:
The flows appear to be a little on the high side which is alright except for
points #5 and #6. Point #5 is questionable because of the 1.3 square miles
of drainage area ciaimed. By inspection the drainage area seems to be much
less than that according to the U.S.G.S. 7-1/2 minute quads.

The flow for point #6 seems unusually high unless there is a large percentage
of impervious area involved.

If you wish to discuss these comments, please contact either Glade Wilkes or
Erke King at 837-4224.

Sincerely,

~~j{- Q

Wayne A.
