<br />R.J. cited 5-7" rains occurred in Grand Junction area ca 19-10 tc 1995 and produced big runoffs and
<br />streamflows with no associated rainfall. T.M. stated CCC will go back and look at John's rep0l1 for
<br />evidence of such events. R.J. stated aIle can get pretty good estimates of rainfall by reconstru::tion using
<br />hydrological records.. His reconsuucted Opal rainfall ma'.ches well with lightning data. E.T. doesn't
<br />believe Mesa Verde storm is a driver.

<br />Creek. N.D. showed observations associated with questionable "torms. Committee recorrunended that the
<br />record show that Leadville and Cimarron eV~nts along with Wolf Creek Pass eyent (August 20, 1995)
<br />should be discarded from consideration. JJi. and F.R. showed ,,,idence of extreme event at Ridgeway
<br />ISE on August 21, 1995, Conunittee agreed to add this eyent tc. appropriate region. RJ. notee[ that Rist
<br />Canyon has had bigger floods than the July 3 I ,August I, [976 eyenl. T.M. stated that lightning occurred
<br />simultaneouly from the Big Thompson north to Rist Carlyon and Poudre River
