<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />"HOW HEAVY CAN IT RAIN IN COLORADO?" <br /> <br />Nolan Doesken, Colorado Climate Center, CSU <br /> <br />This talk will summarize the results of a recent research project that has identified and investigated <br />several hundred of the heaviest rain stonns that have been documented in Colorado. The talk will <br />include a discussion of how hard it has rained in various parts of the state and when heavy stonns are <br />most and least likely, An update will be given on current plans to update the "Precipitation Frequency <br />Atlas of the Western United States." Recent results from the Fort Collins StonnlFlooding will be <br />presented. <br />
