This would suggest frequent flooding of the low-lying areas in the site during normal and wet <br />years. However, conditions at the site and conversations with those familiar with California Bend may not support <br />these modeling results. Consequently, non-current data sources could have a significant effect on the results, as <br />stated earlier. It is suggested that the Corps performs a detailed topographic survey of the site and main channel <br />prior to final design. <br />
