<br />PREfACE <br /> <br />This study presents flood plain information for Mail Creek and McClelland, <br />Basins in Fort Collins and Larimer County, Colorado, and includes a preliminary <br />design af drainage improvement facilities ta eliminate or alleviate flow hazards <br />along these channels. This is a drainageway planning study to be used by the <br />City of Fort Collins and Larimer County to guide flood plain development and <br />design of drainage facilities in these drainageways. All proposed drainage <br />improvements within the basin should be checked for consistency with those <br />facilities presented herein, and will be subject to the approval of the City <br />or County. The hydrology used for design of all future facilities in this <br />study reach shau1d be obtained from this report. <br /> <br />This study was authorized and jointly sponsored by the City of Fort Collins <br />and the Colorado Water Conservation Board. The study was completed by Cornell <br />Consulting Company of fort Collins, Colorado under an agreement with the City <br />of Fort Collins dated June 23, 1980. <br /> <br />A Technical Committe was established for this project to review the pr09ress of <br />the study and to provide technical input from the sponsoring agencies. The <br />Technical Committee included the following individuals: <br />Mr. Robert Smith, City of Fort Collins <br />Mr. Marc Engemoen, City of Fort Collins <br />Mr. D.
