Hazard Area Delineation, Brantner Gulch and Tributaries, '!dateid <br />January, 1983, has been prepared by Sellards &. Grigg, Inc., at <br />'the request of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report describes' and outlines the floodplain <br />data and information for the stonn and floodwater runoff channels <br />or basins of the study area; and ,'., ',' ',,", ',,' ',' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District' has <br />requested the ColoradO Water Conservation Board to designate and <br />approve the floodplain areas as set forth in the aforesaid <br />, report;' and <br /> <br />-~; <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />1973, requires <br />the' prevention' <br /> <br />Section 37-60-106 (1), Colorado Revised Statutes <br />the Colorado Water Conservation Board to aS$ist in <br />of floods and flood damages therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111,.. Colorado Revised <br />Statutes 1973, provide that such legislative bod:Le$ of local <br />jurisdictions may proyide zoning regulations for land uses on or <br />along any storm or floodwater runoff channel or basin only after <br />designation and approval by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1) (c), Colorado Revised Statutes <br />1973, directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate <br />,and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to <br />make such designations available to legislative ,bodies' of local <br />jurisdictions; and' , <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said report and <br />does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />,that the Board designate and, approve as floodplain' areas those <br />areas inundated by a 100-year flood (intermediate regional flood) <br />as described by'the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in <br />said report; <br /> <br />128' ' <br />res (213) <br />
