,/' ,t-', {- THE U;",N DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL Di_:RICT "- RESOLUTION NO. ~, SERIES OF 1980 (Acceptance of Flood Hazard Area Del ineation Report for Bear Creek) WHEREAS, the Board has previously authorized t,he Executive Director to execute an Agreement with the Colorado Water Conservation Board to matching, funds for flood hazard area delineation studies (Resolution' No. 34, Series of 1977); and WHEREAS, pursuant to that Agreement, the Executive Director has executed a contract with Gingery Associates, InC. for a' Flood Hazard Area Delineation Study of Bear Creek; and HHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results of such studies be provided to the local governments so as to assist local governments in meeting the requirements of HBI041; , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: \ ) 1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District accepts the report (Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Bear Creek, November~ 1979) and recommends its use as a guide in future planning related to this major drainageway; 2. The Board 'of Di rectors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District recommends that Denver, Lakewood, Sheridan, Jefferson County and Arapahoe County adopt the report and regulate the 100-year flood plain defined in the "'ann",+-. :>...rl ,.....t'.....,...., ....lIU 3.
