Poling, P.R, Project Engineer, Merrick & Company,
requested that FEMA revise the FIRM and FIS report to show the effects of the construction of a floodwall
at Colorado Boulevard, updated topographic information along Grange Hall Creek from approximately 500
feet downstream of East 108th Avenue to approximately 600 feet upstream of the confluence with Grange Hall
Tributary, and updated topographic information along Grange Hall Creek Tributary from the confluence with
Grange Hall Creek to approximately 800 feet upstream of the confluence. This request follows up on a
Conditional Letter of Map Revision issued on March 25, 1996,

We have completed our review of the subffiitted data and the flood data shown on the effective FIRM and FIS
report. We have revised the FIRM and FIS report to modify the elevations and floodplain and floodway
boundary delineations of the flood having a I-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year
(base flood) along Grange Hall Creek and Grange Hall Creek Tributary, As a result of the modifications, the
base flood elevations (BFEs) for Grange Hall Creek and Grange Hall Creek Tributary increased in some areas
and decreased in other areas; the width of the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be
inundated by the base flood, increased in some areas and decreased in other areas; and the width of the
regulatory floodway increased in some areas and decreased in other areas, The modifications are shown on
the enclosed annotated copies of FIRM Panel(s) 08001 C0039 G and 08001 C0045 G; Prof1le Panel(s) 055P,
056P, 057P and 067P; and affected portions of the Floodway Data Table, In addition, Prof1le Panel 160P has
been added for the 109th Avenue flow. This Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) hereby revises the
above.referenced panel(s) of the effective FIRM and the affected portions of the FIS report, both dated
August 16, 1995.

The modifications are effective as of the date shown above. The map panel(s) as listed above and as modified
by this letter will be used for all flood insurance policies and renewals issued for your community.
