2. Mapping

There was insufficient time to have a sample sheet of the
final mapping prepared.. A sample composite will be made, however,
prior to preparation of all mapping to indicate attilinable quality.
The II1Yl ar or the photo mappi ng suppl i ed vari es si gn'ifi cantly in tonal
qual ity. Reproduction techniques can minimize this to an extent but
will result in a loss of background resolution. Dual overlays will be
used to assure that flood plain data is clearly illustrated.

The present intent is to supply report mapping in a strip format.
We need to di scuss costs for the full scal e gri d fOI"mat.

3. Hydrology Addendum

We are uncertain whether the letter from eWCB, dated
September 1, 1978, regarding final flow values constitutes formal
approval of the Hydrology Technical Addendum.

4. Hydraulics Addendum

The Hydraul ics Technical Addenclum is bein!J prepared. The
Table of Contents will be as follows:

1. General channel description, charactel" and conveyance
capacity, probl em reac hes, reference monument systems

II. Channel roughness coeffi ci ents, speci IFi creach descri p-
tions and bridge-culvert data, expans'ion-contraction loss
coefficients

III. Backwater Profile Analysis., General description, results
and tabulation of flood elevations, dl~bris blockage
analysis, erosion potential.

IV. 10, 50, 100 and 500 year flood profiles and 100 year flood
plain definition and mapping.

V. Fi el d notes, mappi ng, photo data. tab'i e of benchmarks and
reference el evati ons, bri dge and cul Vl~rt.

2
