The S. 7th <br />Street crossing consists of a 66 inch diameter CMP, with head~lall and <br />wingwalls. South 6th Street at Mesa Avenue is crossed by an 84 inch <br />diameter C. I.P., and, at S. 5th at Nevada Avenue, the crossing consists <br />of a 72 inch di ameter CMP. Both the S. 6th St reet and S. 5th Street <br />culverts have headwalls and wingwalls. At s. 4th Street, Montrose <br />Arroyo enters a 54 inch diameter CMP with headwall and wingwalls. This <br />pipe carries the flow under the communi':y hospital" The flow emerges <br />again at S. 2nd Street, in a 5.5 foot wide x 6 foot high block-lined <br />rectan~ular channel section. This channel section continues to and <br />under S. 1st Street. The overbank area provided eHher side of the <br />rectangular section is reasonablY clear.. Roughness coefficients of <br />.025 and .035 have been used for the S. 2nd Street to S. 1st Street <br />reach. <br />The channel emerges from under S. ]st Street in a block,lined <br />culvert, with a poured, arched top. Its overall dimensions are 6 feet <br />wide by approximately 8 feet high. <br />Approximately 100 feet downstream of S. 1st Street, the stream <br />enters an 84 inch diameter CIP which carries the flow under Main <br />Street. The stream exits from this facility in a 72 inch diameter RCP, <br />approximately 10 feet upstream of another 84 inch CIP beneath N. 1st <br />St reet. <br />From N. 1st Street to N. 7th Street, conveyance is by open chan- <br />nel. A foot bridge and a pipe cross over' the waterway. At N. 7th <br />Street, an 84 inch diameter CMP with headwall is the crossing provided. <br />From N. 7th Street, the stream flows genl2rally northwest to its <br />confluence with Cedar Creek. <br /> <br />10 <br />
