<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ie <br />I <br /> <br />AO<NOWLEDGIoENTS <br /> <br />This report is the result of efforts of a number of people at the <br />Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) , Johannes J. DeVries prepared the <br />report. The basic outline was developed by David Ford, with contributions <br />from a number of the Center's staff. The chapter on Calibration of Model <br />Parameters (Chapter 6) was written by Or. Ford, Gary Dyhouse, Chief of the <br />Hydrologic Engineering Section of the st, Louis District, Corps of Engineers, <br />prepared the material in the Appendix while on assignment at HEC in 1979. <br /> <br />The major portion of the material in this report is based on notes, <br />procedures, and special-assistance reports prepared by the Special Assistance <br />Branch of the Hydrologic Engineering Center, much of which was the work of <br />Uale Burnett, past Branch Chief. The review comments of Dale Burnett, Arlen <br />Feldnan, John Peters, and David Ford were very helpful. William Johnson <br />of'fered a number of valuable suggestions on both content and organization, <br />Also greatly appreciated is the help of the Training and Methods Branch <br />clerical staff, Eileen Tomita, Diane Harris, and Pemi Baker, Ms. Baker <br />provided a great deal of help with the report figures, besides typing <br />drafts, The final typiry;) was done by the Word Processing Center of the <br />Sacramento District, Corps of Engineers. <br /> <br />Director of the Hydrologic Engineering Center during the study period <br />was Bill S.
