<br />. <br /> <br />b. Hold and save the United states free from damages due to <br />the construct.i on and operat i on of the project; <br /> <br />c. Acquire, without cost to the United states, easements for <br />flood zoning purposes on approximately 80 acres that would be used .for <br />ponding of interior runoff; and hold and save the United States free <br />from claims as a result of flooding from residual interior runoff <br />during operation of the project; <br /> <br />d. Inform all individuals concerned, in a manner satisfactory <br />to the Secretary of the Army, about the residual flood problem involved <br />owing to temporary ponding; <br /> <br />e. Provide assurances that encroachment on the river channel <br />which would reduce the design flow capacity through the leveed section, <br />and on the ponding area and interior drains wi I I not be permitted; and <br />if the ponding area capacity is impaired, provide substitute storage <br />capacity or equivalent pumping capacity promptly without cost to the <br />Un ited States; <br /> <br />f. Make any alterations to existing improvements, other than <br />rai Iroad bridges, which may be required because of the project; <br /> <br />g. Reimburse the Federal Government for the cost of excavating <br />the fishing lake in excess of the cost of borrow material from the <br />least costly alternative source, currently estimated at $33,000, and <br />hold the United States free from water rights claims; and <br /> <br />h.
