The attached shows eight projects that Colorado requests funding
through the Emergency Watershed Protection (216) program. All of
the projects are non-exigency.

Extended high flows from mountain snowmelt during the period of
late May to late June 1993, caused excessive erosion during this
period of time. Bank cutting and sloughing have occurred in all
eight proposed project areas.
