<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(R) As used in this section, "Floodplain" or "Area of <br />Special Flood Hazard" shall both mean the land in the flood plain <br />within the Town, subject to a one percent or greater chance of <br />flooding in any given year and it shall include Zone A as shown <br />on the Flood Hazard Boundary Map and the are as shown as <br />inundated by the 100 year frequency flood in the Flood Plain <br />Information Report and its related maps and plates as adopted in <br />Subsection 15.7-7. <br /> <br />15.7-2: Development Permits: <br /> <br />(A) Within the designated "Floodplain, as shown on the Maps <br />and Report adopted by subsection 15.7-7, a development permit <br />shall be obtained prior to commencing any construction or <br />development. <br /> <br />(B) Application for a development permit shall be made on <br />forms furnished by the Town which may require plans drawn to <br />scale showing the nature, location, dimensions and elevations of <br />the area in question, existing or proposed structures, fill, <br />storage of materials, drainage facilities, and their locations, <br />and other information appropriate for the administration of these <br />regulations. <br /> <br />(e) Submitted with the application for a development permit <br />for property within the Floodplain shall be the following <br />information: <br /> <br />(1) Elevation in relation to mean sea level of the <br />lowest floor (including basement) of all structures. <br /> <br />(2) Elevation in relation to mean sea level to which <br />any structure has been floodproofed. <br /> <br />(3) Certification by a registered professional engineer <br />or architect that the floodproofing methods of any <br />non-residential structure meet the criteria of subsection <br />l5.7-4(M). <br /> <br />(4) Description of the extent to which any watercourse <br />will be altered or relocated as a result of the proposed <br />development. <br /> <br />(5) Other information required by the Town as necessary <br />to administer and enforce the provision of these regulations. <br /> <br />15.7-3: Duties of Building Official: <br /> <br />The Building Official or other officer or employee designated <br />by the Board of Trustees shall administer and enforce the <br />provisions of these regulations, including the performance of the <br />following duties: <br /> <br />(A) Review all development and other permits to determine <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />LC2/13 <br />
