WHEREAS, such revised and additional floodplain information
reports and flood hazard area maps have been reviewed by the staff of
the Board, taking into account the basin and floodplain changes and
the application of synthetic methods and techniques for hydrologic and
hydraulic detailed analysis, and the staff does hereby recommend to the
Board to rescind and revise the resolution adopted by the Board on
January 12, 1971, relative only to Lena Gulch, which designated and
'approved the flood hazard areas as :Jet forth in the Corps of Engineers'
Flood Plain Infirmation Report, Volume V, and to designate and approve
the flood hazard areas set forth in the Wright-McLaughlin Engineers
report dated June, 1975 and flood hazard area maps, dated June, 1975,
on the basis that the areas shown are representative of the floodplain
conditions as derived from the water surface elevations of the inter-
mediate regional flood flows at the time of the detailed analysis;

NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Con-
servationBoard in regular session assembled in Durango, Colorado, this
9th day of July, 1975" that it does hereby rescind and revise that
por-tion of thereso1uti..on adopted on January 12, ,1971, relating to the
flood hazard areas set forth in the previous information reports
covering Lena Gulch; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Colorado Water Conservation
Board does hereby designate and approve as flood hazard areas those
areas which would be inundated by an intermediate regional (lOO-year)
,flood as set forth in the Wright-McLaughlin report, Volumes 1 and 2,
dated June, 1975; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is
directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the City of
Golden, City of Lakewood, City of Wheatridge, Jefferson County and to
the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District.
