<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC ANALYSIS <br /> <br />INDIAN WASH <br /> <br />GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />1.1 Purpose of Study <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1.3 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1.4 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The purpose of this report is to document the procedures <br />used in determining the 10-, SO-, 100-, and SOO-year <br />flood discharges for Indian Wash for use in the Grand <br />Junction, Mesa County, Colorado Flood Insurance Study. <br />This report is a technical addendum to the Grand Junction <br />Insurance Study. <br /> <br />Scope of Study <br /> <br />A detailed hydrologic analysis was conducted on the <br />Indian Wash \,atershed upstream of the ,Denver and Rio <br />Grande Western Railroad. This analysis included the <br />computation of peak discharges for floods of the selected <br />recurrence intervals for various points within the <br />corporate limits of the City of Grand Junction. <br /> <br />Authorization <br /> <br />This report was authorized by the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency, Federal Insurance and Hazard <br />Mitigation under the provisions of the National Flood <br />Insurance Act of 1968 and the Flood Disaster Protection <br />Act of 1973.
