.
.
.
.
.
.
. Cow Creek, The period of record at the Cow Creek gaging station is 18 years, The frequency
. analysis and regional regression equations provide similar computed discharge values for
. drainage areas close to the gaged drainage area, It is recommended that the results of the
. frequency analysis and Equation 2 be used to determine LOO.year discharge rates for drainage
. areas within the limits of applicability of Equation 2, For drainage areas less that the appropriate
. range for Equation 2, the regional regression approach of equation 1 may be applied but will
. provide discharge rates somewhat higher than indicated by the frequency analysis, For drainage
. areas greater than the Equation 2 range, regional regression equations appear to underpredict
. discharge rates based on the frequency analysis results and detailed analyses are recommended,

.
. Uncompahgre River. Since construction of Ridgway Reservoir was completed in 1987,
. discharges downstream of the reservoir are subject to regulation, USACE analysis of the
. reservoir indicates that LOO-year storm flows at the Colona gage are limited to 2,000 cfs, which is
. the safe channel capacity at that location, Based on this, it is recommended that a loo-year storm
. discharge value of 2,000 cfs be used for the reach of the Uncompahgre River between Ridgway
. Reservoir and-the Colona Gage,

.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.a.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
. 6
.
-
