Portions of the following roads have now become <br />flooded in addition to those previously identified on page 18, and traffic <br />control should be implemented in these areas (see Plates 2-20 for flooded <br />road locations): <br /> <br />KOUNTZE NINTH <br /> <br />TENTH <br /> <br />WATER <br /> <br />3. Raise and remove property in the RED zone. Evacuate <br />residences and businesses from the RED zone if raising of the property is <br />determined not adequate, or the flood is predicted to crest in the RED zone. <br /> <br />4. Conduct search and rescue operations for stranded and isolated <br />persons. <br /> <br />5. Request assistance from the State Office of Emergency Services <br />through the Fremont County Emergency Director. <br /> <br />LEVEL 3 RESPONSE ACTIONS <br /> <br />In addition to the above mentioned Level 1 and 2 response actions, the <br />following actions should be implemented if the flood crest is forecast to be <br />in the RED or 50o-YEAR flood zone at the Arkansas River Canon City <br />Gage: <br /> <br />1. Persons in the RED zone should take precautions and evacuate. <br />See Appendix C for a list of identified structures. <br /> <br />2.
