<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />shall also develop a maintenance plan for this component of the proposed project as Tequired by <br />FEMA. The Contractor shall provide required text and other information to be included in the <br />final report for this component of the proposed project. <br /> <br />The Local Sponsors and the CWCB will be responsible for recommending or endorsing the <br />proposed flood protection component of the project related to Pawnee Creek conveyance channel <br />(mainstem), and the Pawnee Creek Overflow, including an operation and maintenance plan, <br />report text, and other information for the final report, <br /> <br />Task 6 - Cost Estimate: <br />The Contractor shall provide a table of refined construction cost information for the proposed <br />(recommended) flood protection components to be included in the final report. In addition, an <br />estimation of construction costs for the alternatives should be included for the two or more <br />considered alternatives. <br /> <br />The Contractor will provide cost estimates for the flood protection components of the project. <br /> <br />Task 7 - Input Parameters: <br />The Contractor shall develop the input parameters/elements for the computations of the cost- <br />effectiveness of the proposed project. The input parameters shall be prepared with detail as <br />required for an analysis using FEMA's B/C ratio listed in Item V for the Report Outline, <br /> <br />Task 8 - National Flood Insurance Program: <br />The Contractor shall complete attachment A in cooperation with the Local Sponsors. <br /> <br />Task 9 - Environmental Information: <br />The Contractor shall complete Attachment B for the selected proposed project alternative, <br /> <br />Task 10 - Schedule: <br />The Contractor shall prepare a project work/implementation schedule. It may be a requirement <br />to phase the proposed project to accommodate available project funding in 1998. <br /> <br />Tasks 11 -14: <br />The Contractor shall provide the professional services for the completion of the final report with <br />the required attachments. <br /> <br />Preliminary Desilm Criteria <br />All preliminary designs of channels, levees, culverts, bridges, detention facilities, and other flood <br />protection features shall be consistent with FEMA, Corps of Engineers, or State of Colorado <br />design criteria for flood control works (whichever may apply, and whichever would be the most <br />stringent criteria for a given flood control feature), The flood protection designs shall provide <br />flood protection to the toO-year flood frequency with consideration for the flood characteristics <br />of the July 30-31,1997 event. <br /> <br />Meetinl!:s and Coordination <br />At least three informal progress meetings shall be held between Contractor and CWCB during <br />the course of the Project. The first meeting will consist of a half-day on-site tour of the Project <br />area, The second and third meetings will be held to discuss and review work progress, to <br /> <br />5 <br />
