It is my understanding that
because of funding and staff cor1straints, there are two floodplain
studies that have not been approved by the Colorado Water
Conservation Board. These studies are the September 30, 1988 Flood
Insurance Study and the December 5, 1989 Flood Insurance Study.

I am asking at this time that a technical review of these studies be
conducted in the most expeditious manner possible, given your
funding and staff constraints. As you realize, the City would like
to have these studies available to officially answer floodplain
questions and for processing guidance.

SincerelY/;! ^

, 'wV21;,~.
,,. , "
A
i1::id R.D: Busby,
Mayor :

5291 east 60th avenue/p.o. box 40/commerce city, colorado 80037

(303) 289-3611
