This <br />Technical Advisory and the interim procedures in the <br />Attachment provide guidance on the development and <br />implementation of procedures for evaluating bridge scour <br />to meet the requirements of the regulation. <br /> <br />d. This memorandum stated in part: "Each State <br />ShOUld evaluate the risk of its bridges being subjected <br />to scour damage during floods on the order of a 100 to <br />500 year return periQd or more." <br /> <br />e. FY 1989 High Priority Research Program of the FBWA.
