(iJrJ SERIES OF 1995 <:010<''''' I-Ie"" <br />!li, Conservation Be- -." <br />(Acceptance of Flood HliZard Area Delinealion Report -. <br />Coyote Run and lIpper Box Elder Creek) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously established a Work Program for 1992 (Resolution <br /> <br />No, 67, Series of 1991) which included !he qelineation of flood hazard areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, tite Board has previously au!horized tite Executive Director to execule an agreemenl <br />with a qualified engineering consultant for the completion of a master planning and flood hazard area <br />delineation study for Coyole Run and Upper Box Elder Creek (Resolution No, 60, Series of 1992 and <br />Resolution No.9, Series of 1993); and <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed an agreement with CH2M Hill for a flood <br />hazard area delineation sludy of Coyote Run and Upper Box Elder Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a report "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Coyole Run and Upper Box <br />Elder Creek" dated December, 1995, has been compleled by CH2M Hill; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated ilS desire lhal the results of such studies <br />be provided to the local govemmenls so as to assist such local govemmenls in meeting the <br />requirements of HB 1041. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />I, The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Conlrol Dislrict accepts <br />the report "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Coyole Run and Upper Box Elder <br />Creek" , December, 1995 and re<:ommends ils use as a guide in future planning <br />related to the floodplains contained therein, <br />2, The Board of Direclors of lhe Urban Drainage and Flood Control District <br />recommends thaI Aurora, Arapahoe County and Adams Counly adopt lhe report <br />and regulate lhe lOO-year floodplains defined in the report, <br />3, The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control Dislrict submit <br />lhe report for designation and aPl>roval by !he Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />as stated in Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statules, 1973, as flood <br />hazard areas, !hose areas described as1being iimndated by lhe lOO-year flood. <br /> <br />DATED this <br /> <br />21st <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />Oecembe r <br /> <br />,1995 <br /> <br />THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND <br />FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT <br /> <br />(SEAL) <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />/2!JJ/ &~- <br /> <br />Secretary <br /> <br />rdA' 7f~/ <br />haJrman <br />
