<br />THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLDDD CONTROL DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ND~9, SERIES OF 197B <br />(Acceptance of FloOd:Hazard Area Delineation <br />of Little Dry Creek (Adco)) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously authorized the Executive Director to <br /> <br /> <br />execute an agreement with a consulting engineer for the completion of a Flood <br /> <br /> <br />Hazard Area Delineation Report for Little Dry Creek (Adeo) (Resoluti-on No. 18. <br /> <br />Series of 1977); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed a contract with Merrick <br /> <br />and Company for a Flood Hazard Area Delineation Study of Little Dry Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results <br /> <br />of such studies be provided to the local governments so as to assist local <br /> <br /> <br />governments in meeting the requirements of HB 1041; <br /> <br />NDW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br />1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br /> <br />District accept the report (Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Little <br /> <br /> <br />Dry Creek (Adco), June, 1978) and recommend its use as a guide <br /> <br />in future planning related to these major drainageways; <br /> <br />2. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br /> <br />District recommend that Adams County, Jefferson County, Arvada, <br /> <br />and Westminster adopt the report and regulate the lOO-year flood <br /> <br /> <br />plains defined in the report; and <br /> <br /> <br />3.
