<br />\...-. <br /> <br />-# 30,/ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />THE URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. ~Lo , SERIES OF 1989 <br />(Acceptance of Flood Haza~d Area Delineation Report <br />for Big Dry Creek (ADCO) North Area Tributaries) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously established a Work Program for 1988 <br />(Resolution No. 62, Series of 1987) which included the delineation of flood <br /> <br />hazard areas; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously authorized the Executive Director to <br />execute an agreement with a qualified engineering consultant for the completion <br />of a master planning study for several Big Dry Creek (ADCD) North Area <br />Tributaries (Resolution No. 13, Series of 1988); and <br />WHEREAS, the Executive Director has executed an agreement with Wright Water <br />Engineers, Inc. for a flood hazard area delineation study of several Big Dry <br />Creek (ADCO) North Area Tributaries to be conducted in conjunction with the <br /> <br />master planning study; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a report "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Big Dry Creek (ADCO) <br /> <br /> <br />North Area Tributaries" dated July, 1989 has been completed by Wright Water <br /> <br />Engineers, Inc. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously indicated its desire that the results of <br /> <br />such studies be provided to the local governments so as to assist such local <br /> <br />governments in meeting the requirements of HB 1041; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAi: <br /> <br />1. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br />District accepts the report "flood Hazard Area Del ineation, <br />Big Dry Creek (ADCO) North Ar~a Tributaries," July, 1989, and <br />recommends its use as a guide in future planning related to the <br />. floodplains contained therein. <br />2. The Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control <br />District recommends that Adams County, Thornton, Westminster and <br />Broomfield adopt the report and regulate the IDO-year floodplains <br />
