FPR 96-434 COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD 721 State Centennial Building 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 September 9, 1996 RES OL UTION WHEREAS, Water Resource Consultants, Inc., under contract with the Colorado Water Conservation Board, completed a floodplain information report entitled "Floodplain Information Report, South Arkansas RiverIPoncha Creek, Poncha Springs, Colorado" dated March 1978; and WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the South Arkansas River and Poncha Creek; and WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, by Resolution No. 114, designated and approved the detailed floodplain information included in said report; and / WHEREAS, the Soil Conservation Service completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Hazard Analyses, Cottonwood Creek in the Vicinity of Buena Vista, Chaffee County, Colorado" dated July 1978; and WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Cottonwood Creek; and WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, by Resolution No. 133, designated and approved the detailed floodplain information included in said report; and WHEREAS, Water Resource Consultants, Inc., under contract with the Colorado Water Conservation Board, completed a floodplain information report entitled "Floodplain Information Report, Lower South Arkansas River" dated April 1979; and WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for the Lower South Arkansas River; and WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, by Resolution No. 146, designated and approved the detailed floodplain information included in said report; and WHEREAS, the Soil Conservation Service completed a floodplain information report entitled "Flood Hazard Study, Chalk Creek in Chaffee County, Colorado" dated July 1980; and WHEREAS, said report included detailed floodplain information for Chalk Creek; and
