This letter will serve <br />as the Colorado Water Conservation Board's (CWCB's) commitment to assist with the <br />matching requirements for FEMA's HMGP. <br /> <br />At the CWCB's November 25, 1997 meeting, the Board approve:d the City of Sterling's <br />application for $550,000 in construction funds for the Sterling Flood Mitigation Project. <br />The Board's action has been presented to the Colorado General Assembly for <br />authorization and funding in House Bill 1189, Section 1.
