<br />Peak-Flow Data

<br />Peak-flow data include: Water year, calendar date, peak discharge, and the
<br />corresponding gage height. For years where the record is complete, peaks are
<br />I isted for snowmelt runoff and rainfall runoff. Except for instances discussed in
<br />the section on Unusual Situations (p. 11), either the snowmelt-runoff peak or the
<br />rainfall-runoff peak is also the annual peak. Differentiated peak-flow data are
<br />also stored in the U.S. Geological Survey's computer file.
