<br />WHEREAS, said report dated December 3, 1993 contains detailed and approximate <br />floodplain information for Big Dry Creek, a portion of which revises, based on new analyses, the <br />detailed floodplain information for Big Dry Creek contained in aforesaid Arapahoe County Flood <br />Insurance Study dated March 4, 1991, and for various other streams within the corporate limits of <br />each of the municipalities in Arapahoe County and within unincorporated portions of Arapahoe <br />County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Arapahoe <br />County, by Resolution No. 353, designated and IIpproved a portion of the detailed information <br />contained in said report dated December 3, 1993 for Big Dry Creek from its confluence with <br />Tributary B upstream to a point approximately 500 feet upstream of Colorado Blvd., and <br />rescinded that portion of Resolution No. 45 related to said reach of Big Dry Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain <br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Arapahoe County, Colorado and Incorporated <br />Areas", revised August 16, 1995; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report dated August 16, 1995 contains detailed and approximate <br />floodplain information for Big Dry Creek, which is consistent with that portion of Resolution No. <br />353 for Big Dry Creek contained in aforesaid Arapahoe County Flood Insurance Study dated <br />December 3, 1993, and for various other strellffiS within the corporate limits of each of the <br />municipalities in Arapahoe County and within unincorporated portions of Arapahoe County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the detailed and approximate floodplain information for Big Dry Creek <br />contained in said report dated August 16, 1995 bas not been designated and approved the by the <br />ColDtado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Insurance Administration completed a floodplain information <br />report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Douglas County, Colorado, Unincorporated Areas", <br />dated March 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report dated March 1980 contains approximate floodplain information <br />for Big Dry Creek along with detailed and approJlimate floodplain information for various other <br />streams in the unincorporated portions of Douglas County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Douglas County, <br />by Resolution No. 164, designated and approved the approximate floodplain information for <br />Big Dry Creek included in said report dated March 1980; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain <br />information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Douglas County, Colorado, Unincorporated <br />Areas", dated September 30,1987; and <br /> <br />3 <br />
