This session describes efforts at some of the nation's <br />major hazards-related research centers to implement integrated, multidisciplinary research <br />projects. Discussants will address major obstacles to achieving this goal and outline the best <br />options for overcoming them in order to synthesize the social, behavioral, and physical <br />sciences and various engineering specialities to produce a more holistic approach to hazards. <br /> <br />2.
