<br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, . <br />directs the Colorado Water conservation Board to designate' and <br />approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to <br />make such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said new report meets all of the requirements <br />as detailed floodplain information under the Board's "Rules and <br />Regulations for the Designation and Approval of Floodplains and <br />of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR <br />408-h); and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, <br />Colorado, this 19th day of January, 1990, that it does hereby <br />designate and approve the 100-year floodplain as described by <br />the floodwater surface elevations and profiles in said new <br />report, dated October, 1989, for the stated study reaches for <br />Parachute Creek and the Colorado River and does hereby rescind <br />that portion of Resolution No. 244, dated November 7, 1985, for <br />Parachute Creek from its confluence with the Colorado River <br />upstream to the 1989 northern corporate limit of the Town of <br />Parachute only; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified copy of this resolution to the <br />,Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, and the Town <br />of Parachute, Colorado; the Colorado Division of Disaster '. <br />Emergency Services; and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />~ ~ R I l ~ l ~ .
