Eagle County, <br />Colorado," dated September. 1986, has been prepared by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation B~ard' at the re~u~st of Eagle <br />County; and <br /> <br />. . " . <br />. . <br />WHEREAS, said report descr~bes' and ' outlines the floodplain <br />data and' information for the storm' and floodwater runoff <br />channels or basins of the study area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. <br />Conservation <br />areas as set <br /> <br />Eagle County has requested the <br />Board to designate and approve <br />forth in the aforeeaid report; and <br /> <br />Colorado Water <br />the floodplain <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Section <br />Statutes. requires the <br />assist in the prevention <br />and <br /> <br />37-60J106(1) (c), Colorado Revised <br />Co10raOo Water Conservation Board to <br />of floods and flood damages therefrom; <br /> <br />WHEREAS. . Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28~111. Section 37-60-106(1)(c), .Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, directs the ColoradO Water Conservation Board to <br />designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or <br />basins and to make such designations available to legislative <br />bodies of local jurisdictions; and . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said report <br />and does hereby recommend to the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board that the Board designate and approve as floodplain areas <br />those areas inundated by a 100-year. flood (intermediate <br />regional flood) as described . by the floodwater surface <br />elevations and profiles in said report; <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />1993E <br />
