<br />public requirements. Such reguhtions shall be made with reasonable
<br />consideration, among other thing!., as to the characte:r of the district
<br />and its peculiar suitability for particular uses, and with a view to
<br />consE!rving the value of building~; and encouraging the most appropriate
<br />use of land throughout such munil:ipality.
<br />SECTION 4. 106-2-5 (3), Colorado Revised statutes 1963, is
<br />hereby amended to read:
<br />106-2-5. Adoption of masteL.2bln - contents. (3) The mast'~r
<br />plan of a county or region, with the accompanying maps, plats, charts,
<br />and descriptive and explanatory matt'Eir, shall show the county or
<br />re9ional planning commission's recommendations for the development of
<br />the territory covered by the plan, and may include: Thl~ general loca-
<br />tion, character, and extent of streets or roads, viaducts, bridges,
<br />parkways, playgrounds, forests, rese:~vations, parks, airports, and
<br />other public ways, grounds, places and spaces; the general location
<br />and extent of public utilities clnd t'~rminals, whether publicly or
<br />pI'ivately owned, for water, light, PQwer, sanitation" transportation,
<br />cQmrnunication, heat, and other purposes; the acceptance, widening,
<br />removal, extension, relocation, narrowing, vacation, abandonment, or
<br />change of use of any of the foregoing public ways, grounds, places,
<br />spaces, buildings, properties, utilities, or terminals; the general
<br />character, location, and extent of community centers, town sites,
<br />houl3ing developments, whether public or private, and urban conse:rva-
<br />tion or redevelopment areas; the general location and extent of
<br />forest, agricultural area s, FLOOD CONTROL AREAS, and open development
<br />areas for purposes of conservation, food and water supply, sanitary
<br />and drainage facilities, FLOOD CaNTHaL, or the protE!ction of urban
<br />development; and a land classification and utilization program.
