AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FLOOD HAZARD AREA liAr/ON ~{rl?
DELINEATION MAPS FOR TUCKER GULCH AND KENNEY'S ~I?D
RUN WITHIN THE CITY OF GOLDEN

WHEREAS, the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District has
. submitted. their flood hazard area delineation maps for Tucker
Gulch and Kenney's Run within the City of Golden; and

WHEREAS, follmving review by the Planning Commission, the
City Council is desirous of adopting this delineation on Tucker
Gulch and Kenney's Run as the official maps of the Ci'ty of
Golden, pursuant to the requirements of Section 19.12.030 of the
Golden Revised Ordinances of 1965, as amended.

NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
. CITY OF GOLDEN, COLORADO:

Section 1. Pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 19.12 of
the .Golden Revised Ordinances .of 1965, as' amended, th6s~ certain
flood hazard area delineation maps. depicting floodplain
boundaries on Tucker Gulch and Kenney's Run within the City of'
. Golden, pursuant to the document entitled "Golden ~ Tucker Gulch
. and Kenney's Run - Flood Hazard Area Delineation" dated January,
. 1983, and as adopted. by' the Colorado Water. Conservation Board on
July 7, 1983, be and the same are hereby approved and adopted by
the Golden City Council as the official floodplain are~ maps for
Tucker Gulch and Kenney's Run within the City of Golden.

Section 2. All ordinances or portions of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
