DESCRIPTION OF LOCATION
U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey brass tablets, stamped "V280
1951", set in top of southwest end of southeast concrete abutment
of Frontage Road bridge over Pitkin Creek, 1.9 miles northwest
along U.S. Highways 6 and 24 from post office at Minturn, 23 feet
south of centerline of bridge, and 1 foot higher.
U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey brass tablets, stamped "Z280
1951", set in top of center of large gran ite bou IdeI' 0.07 foot
above ground, 1.9 miles northwest along U.S. Highways 6 and 24
from post office at Minturn, 147 feet north of center of steel gate
at K-K Ranch.
