<br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I' <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />T~CHNICA~ M~MORANDQM <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />David Walker, CWCB <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Wright Water Engineers <br /> <br />DATE: <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />August 22, 1988 <br /> <br />Union Avenue Boat Chute <br /> <br />At the concluslon of the UnJon Avenue boat chute meeting on August 22, 1988 <br />held in the offices of the city of Sheridan, the following consensus was <br />reached: <br /> <br />1) Resolved that Wright Water Engineers is to proceed with Alternate 2A <br />with a modified first drop similar to that shown in Alternate 4. <br />including engineering modifications necessary for optimization. <br /> <br />Further, it was the consensus that time is of the essence and therefore <br />Wright Water Engineers should commence contacts with the U.S. Bureau of <br />Reclamation and commence designing the model emphasizing the Englewood <br />water intake facility, the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers concrete dam. <br />the first pool, and the first drop which is the same for all alternates <br />considered. <br /> <br />2) Wright Water Engineers stated that this 8/22/88 mid-course correction <br />meeting was too early to discuss cost estimates because layout <br />optimization was needed and that WWE is awaiting unit cost prices from <br />a recent similar job in Boulder. <br /> <br />The group expressed a desire for relative cost, therefore.
