WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Jefferson
County, Colorado by Resolution No. 282 adopted on December 11, 1987, approved and
designated detailed floodplain information for Lena Gulch and Apex Gulch described in
said report; and

WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Flood Hazard Area Delineation, Upper Lena
Gulch" dated January 1993 has been prepared by Boyle Engineering Corporation under
contract to the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District; and

WHEREAS, said new report includes detailed floodplain information for the
following streams;

Lena Gulch
Upper Lena Gulch (known as Jackson Gulch in Resolutions Nos. 236 and 282)
Apex Gulch
Pleasant View Tributary

WHEREAS, said new report provides, on the basis of a revised hydraulic and
hydrologic analysis, detailed floodplain information that revises the information contained
in the aforementioned reports designated by Resolution Nos. 44, 54, 236, and 282 for the
following reaches:
