COMMENTARY - SHEET 3 OF 12

COST ESTIMATE - SHEET 3 OF 12

Grade stabilization structures are recommended to maintain the existing
channel and reduce degradation problems which may occur. The cost estimate
for Sheet 3 of 12 reflects improved channel maintenance and the construction
of thirteen grade stabilization structures.

ITEM

Channel Improvements
Street Crossings
Utility Relocation

In regard to the Cressmans Gulch channel and floodplain, the commentary for
Sheet 2 also pertains to this sheet.

The replacement of the North Ford Street crossing of Tucker Gulch was studied
in Phase A and found to be not economically justified. As a result, an
improved crossing is not part of the recommended plan. However, should the
crossing be severely damaged or washed out in the event of a flood, or when
major street improvements are justified by factors other than flooding, a 100-
year design crossing should be considered utilizing hydrologic data presented
in this report.

Subtota 1
Contingencies (15%)

Engineering, Legal & Administrative (15%)

TOTAL CONSTRUCTION COST

Right-of-Way Acquisition

TOTAL CAPITOL COST OF IMPROVEMENTS

The recommended plan for this reach is floodplain regulation.

TOTALS IN EACH JURISDICTION

City of Golden
Jefferson County

Annual Operation and Maintenance Costs

COST

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I

$ 84,500
-0-
-0-

84,500

12,675
12,675

109,850

-0-

109,850

76,050
33,800

(3,300)
