<br />06754000 SOUTH PLATTE RIVER NEAR KERSEY, CO <br /> <br />LOCATION.--Lat 40024'44", long 104033'46", in NW!oSW!o sec.9, T.5 N., R.64 W., <br />Weld County, Hydrologic Unit 10190003, on downstream side of bridge on <br />State Highway 37, 1.9/mi (3.1 km) north of railroad in Kersey, and 2.5 mi <br />(4.0 km) downstream from Cache la Poudre River. <br /> <br />DRAINAGE AREA.--9,598 miz (24,859 kmZ). <br /> <br />AVERAGE DISCHARGE.--71 years (water years 1902-03, 1906-74), 777 ft3js <br />22.00 m3js), 562,900 acre-ftjyr (694 hm3jyr, prior to completion of <br />Chatfield Dam; 7 years (water years 1976-82), 986 ft3js (27.92 m3js), <br />714,400 acre-ftjyr (881 hm3jyr), subsequent to completion of Chatfield Dam. <br /> <br />GAGE DATUM.--4,575.77 ft (1,394.695 m). <br /> <br />MEASUREMENT SECTION LOCATION.--At upstream <br />piers are 1.7 ft wide with a clear span <br />o~ wjdpoint of clear span <br /> <br />edge of Highway 37 bridge.
