<br />WHEREAS, the City of Holyoke and Phillips County should continue to regulate new <br />development and construction in floodplain areas on a case-by-case basis utilizing the information <br />presented in said new floodplain information report, or based on the best available floodplain <br />information that may be accessible to the City and County in the future; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Holyoke and Phillips County are hereby advised to formally adopt said <br />new floodplain information report so that it becomes incorporated into their respective local floodplain <br />ordinances and/or local floodplain regulations. <br /> <br />DESIGNATION. APPROVAL AND RESCISSION ACTION <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 25th day of November 2002, that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as detailed floodplain information the 100-year floodplain delineations for <br />Frenchman Creek within the City of Holyoke contained in said new floodplain information report dated <br />August 9,2002; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby rescind the detailed 100-year <br />floodplain information contained in Resolution No. 267 for the studied reach of Frenchman Creek <br />within the City of Holyoke contained in said new floodplain information report dated August 9, 2002; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a signed copy <br />of this resolution to the City of Holyoke, Phillips County, and the Federal Emergency Management <br />Agency Region 8. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the <br />members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at Denver, Colorado <br />on the 25th day of November 2002, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br />Rod Kuharich, Director <br /> <br />res-567.doc twb <br /> <br />3 <br />
