<br />FPR 02-567 <br />Frenchman Creek at Holyoke <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />November 25, 2002 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />PREVIOUS FLOODPLAIN INFORMATION <br />WHEREAS, the following floodplain studies have been designated by the CWCB for <br />Frenchman Creek as listed in Table I: <br /> <br />Table 1 <br />Previouslv desil!nated floodplain information for the Frenchman Creek <br /> <br /> Report Resolution <br />Studv Name Author Date No. <br />Floodplain Information Report, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, July 1986 267 <br />Frenchman Creek, Holyoke, Colorado Kansas City District <br />Flood Insurance Study, City of Holyoke, Federal Emergency Management February 466 <br />Phillips County, Colorado Agency 1987 <br /> <br />; and <br /> <br />FLOODPLAIN INFORMATION TO BE DESIGNATED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, completed a new <br />floodplain information report entitled "Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analyses, Frenchman Creek, <br />Holyoke, Colorado" dated August 9,2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new floodplain information report contains detailed floodplain information <br />for the Frenchman Creek for approximately a 3 mile reach beginning near County Road 43 within <br />unincorporated Phillips County and continuing upstream through the City of Holyoke and <br />terminating at the upstream study limit located at County Road 37; and <br /> <br />LOCAL REOUEST FOR DESIGNATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the CWCB was one of the sponsors along with the City of Holyoke, Phillips <br />County, and the Corps of Engineers, and assisted in the coordination of activities related to the <br />completion of said new floodplain information report; and <br />
