I offer the <br />fOllowing answers to your questions. <br /> <br />Question No.1 - MOVE! gage No.2 to Highway No. 52 ratller than <br />the County Road located one mi le north of Highway No. 5.2. <br />We have no objections to this change. Cross-sectional data <br />for Highway No. 52 crossing is E,nclosed. <br /> <br />Question No.2 - Locate Gage No.1 closer to Wiggins. We have <br />inspected the two sites and havE! ~;elected the site on <br />county road 16.5 at section line 36-31 - see enclosed map. <br />The Corps site at section 32 is a poor one hydraulically <br />because the valley cross-section has no definition: <br />therefore. it would be difficult to establish a rating <br />curve for flows greater than 20.000 cfs. The cross-section <br />data for the selected site is enclosed. <br /> <br />Question No.3 - Who will pay for the phone hook-up and monthly <br />fees for the warning station. Jl, spons1n. Town of Wiggins <br />or the Burlington Northern Railroad will be determined <br />following the design of the warning station for Gage Site <br />No. 1. <br /> <br />Question No.4 - Confirmation that an unused phone line and <br />approval of State and Morgan County can be secured for the <br />gage station.
