III ADDITIONAL STUDIES AND PERTINENT DATA

does not present information directly related to Lake-

wood Gulch, but it does illustrate flooding caused by

the South Platte River at the mouth of Lakewood Gulch.

Several reports and studies have been published which provide

information regarding flood hazards in the general area of

Lakewood Gulch. While only one of the reports directly addresses

Lakewood Gulch itself, the others provide information on adjacent

gulches and streams which affect Lakewood Gulch indirectly.

Flood Hazard Area Delineation reports have been prepared for all

of the major tributaries of Lakewood Gulch. Following is a tab-

ulation of these reports; when appropriate, a brief description

is given of the relationship to the current report:

trates the extent of predicted flooding caused by

McIntyre Gulch at its confluence with Lakewood Gulch

west of Wadsworth Boulevard.
