<br />REFERENCE MARK <br /> <br />RMl <br /> <br />RM2 <br /> <br />RM3 <br /> <br />FIRM PANEL <br /> <br />0001 <br /> <br />0001 <br /> <br />0001 <br /> <br />Exhibit 3 - Elevation Reference Marks <br /> <br />ELEVATION (FEET NGVD) <br /> <br />6267.957 <br /> <br />6181.700 <br /> <br />6180.552 <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF LOCATION <br /> <br />A standard disk, stamped "Y 92 1935," located 0.6 <br />mile north along U.S. Highway 85 from the county <br />courthouse at Walsenburg, 0.4 mile south of the <br />abandoned Denver & Rio Grande Western (D & RGW) <br />Railroad overpass, 204 feet northeast of the crossing <br />of an old D & RGW Railroad sidetrack, at the old <br />Skelly Oil Co. storage tank foundation, in the top <br />of the northeast concrete block, 29.0 feet south of <br />the centerline of the track, and 0.5 feet lower <br />than the track. Established by U.S. Coast and <br />Geodetic Survey. <br /> <br />A standard disk, stamped "6181.700 Y 21 1929," at <br />Walsenburg, at the intersection of Main and Fifth <br />Streets, at the county courthouse, at top of the <br />steps at the main entrance in the concrete entrance <br />platform, and 3.5 feet north of the entrance. Esta- <br />blished by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey. <br /> <br />A standard disk, stamped "6180.552 X 21 1929" and <br />set in the top of a concrete post projecting 0.8 <br />foot above ground, 0.4 mile south along the Colorado <br />& Southern Railroad from the courthouse at Walsenburg, <br />at the crossing of U.S. Highway 160, 85 feet south- <br />east of the centerline of the highway, 25 feet east <br />of the centerline of the main track, 64 feet south <br />of a pole, in line with the row of poles, 3 feet <br />south of a white wooden witness post, and level <br />with the highway. Established by U.S. Coast and <br />Geodetic Survey. <br />
