<br />EXHIBIT VIII-J <br /> <br />CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br /> <br />CONTRACT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made this <br />2001_. <br /> <br />25th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />September, <br /> <br />by and between <br /> <br />Morgan County <br />(CORPORATE NAME OF PUBLIC AGENCY) <br /> <br />herein called <br /> <br />"Owner" acting herein through its Board of County Commissioners <br />(TITLE OF AUTHORIZED OFFICIAL) <br /> <br />and a <br /> <br />corporation! a partnership! ai, il,di,idual (Strike Out Inapplicable Terms) doing business as <br /> <br />PHD Contractors, Inc. <br />County of _Douglas <br /> <br />, of _ Castlerock <br />and State of _Colorado <br /> <br />hereinafter called "Contractor." <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the payments and agreements hereinafter mentioned, to <br />be made and performed by the OWNER, the CONTRACTOR hereby agrees with the OWNER to commence <br />and complete the construction described as follows: <br /> <br />,'^,plrlnn~ I=lnnrl ~nntrnl Imprm/p,mpntc: ~nrl r:nnT ~tn I~h lrp. ~_?1_Ar. <br /> <br />hereinafter called the project, for the sum of _Four Hundred Sixty Thousand, Nine Hundred Three Dollars <br />and Twenty Two Cents _ ($_460,903.22..1 and all extra work in connection therewith, under the terms as <br />stated in the General and Supplemental Conditions of the Contract, the Terms and Conditions of the <br />Contract, and the Labor Standards Provisions of the Contract; and at his (its or their) own proper cost and <br />expense to furnish all materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, toois, superintendence, labor, insurance <br />and other accessories and services necessary to complete the said project in accordance with the conditions <br />and prices stated in the Proposal, the General Conditions, and Supplemental General Conditions of the <br />Contract, the plans which include all maps, plats, blue prints, and other drawings and printed or written <br />explanatory matter thereof, the specifications and contract documents therefor as prepared by ZOViODoulos <br />& Associates. Inc. & DRAHT Consultino.llC herein entitled the AI ehiteet/Engineer, and as enumerated <br />in Paragraph 1 of the Supplemental General Conditions, all of which are made a part hereof and collectively <br />evidence and constitute the Contract. <br /> <br />The Contractor hereby agrees to commence work under this Contract on or before a date to be specified <br />in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the project within 120 consecutive <br />calendar days thereafter.
