<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />COMMUNITY OF WELDONA <br />MORGAN COUNTY, COLORADO <br />Topographic Mapping <br /> <br />December 2, 1997 <br /> <br />Contractor <br />For the purposes of this project, the mapping Contractor shall be the firm of Landmark Mapping, <br />Inc. The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) is the project owner. <br /> <br />Summary of Requested Work <br />The Contractor shall obtain aerial photography and/or perform field surveys in order to obtain <br />topographic information in support of a flood hazard mitigation feasibility study. The <br />engineering firm ofWRC Engineering, Inc. will be performing the engineering analyses and will <br />make use of the mapping information provided by the mapping Contractor. <br /> <br />Authoritv <br />According to Section 37-60-106(1)(c) of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board has the power and duty: <br /> <br />"... to devise and formulate methods, means and plans for bringing about the <br />greater utilization of the waters of the state and the prevention of flood damages <br />therefrom. . ." <br /> <br />Proiect Location <br />The project area is located in the community of Weldon a in Morgan County, Colorado. <br /> <br />Proiect Tasks <br />The mapping Contractor shall be responsible for the following tasks and items: <br /> <br />. Obtain aerial photography sufficient to produce 2 foot contour topographic mapping for the <br />areas shown in Attachment A (project area 1). Obtain aerial photography to produce 2 foot <br />contour mapping for the area shown in Attachment B (project area 2). Obtain sufficient data <br />to define edges of all roadways within project areas, houses and other buildings, fences, and <br />trees (planimetrics). <br /> <br />. Plot 2 foot contours on 24" by 36" reproducible vellum or mylar sheets. Plot scale should be <br />1" = 200'. Locations of streets, houses, trees, fences, and other major features should be <br />marked and labeled on the plotted sheets. Contour accuracy should be plus or minus one half <br />of the contour interval. A border and a blank title block should be included on the sheets, <br />along with the map scale and a north arrow. <br /> <br />I <br />
