CWCB will update and revise the Colorado Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan (also known as the 409 plan). <br />Eight hard copies and one computer disk (in WordPerfect and Microsoft Word fonnat) of the plan will be <br />submitted to OEM and FEMARegion Eight no later than February 1, 1998. <br /> <br />2. CWCB will provide technical assistance to the following communities/projects in order to facilitate the <br />processing oftheir applications for the HMGP funding. Hereinafter referred to as the projects. The <br />applications are due by January l6, 1998. <br /> <br />A Logan County/Sterling Pawnee Project-up to $ 1,165,000 <br />B .Morgan County Weldona Project- up to $ 450,000 <br />C. Ft. Collins Warning System- up to $ 250,000 <br />D. Ft. Collins Flood proofing Project- up to $ l50,000 <br />E. Larimer County Vme St. project- up to $ 300,000 <br />F. Canon City Detention Basin Project- up to $ 240,000 <br />G. Pueblo Stream GageIMonitoring Project- up to $ 25,000 <br />H. Prowers County Wiley Project- up to $ lOO,OOO <br /> <br />3. Once FEMA has approved them, OEM will provide the HMGP funds to the sub-grantees as CWCB <br />deems necessary to initiate and complete the projects. In the event any or all of these projects are not <br />approved by FEMA, CWCB will confer with the OEM Mitigation Officer to determine which additional <br />projects might be considered and substituted. <br /> <br />4. CWCB will arrange for grants management for the funded projects including all required financial <br />reporting through the end of the projects. <br /> <br />Page I of! <br />
