The floodway <br />analysis is contained in Appendix B. <br /> <br />Floodplains <br />Flood boundaries for the 100- and SOD-year flood events were delineated <br />on the topographic mapping. Water surface elevations are known at cross sec- <br />tion locations and the profile is determ.ined by connecting the two known <br />points in a straight line. The maps are drawll by interpolation between cross <br />sections. At each contour interval a line is drawn on the floodplain map <br />showi ng the 100-year water surface el evati on. The fl oodpl ai nand floodway <br />boundaries are given in the map pocket. Flood zones for insurance purposes <br />are also shown. <br />
