emergency activities which may be re-

tention, fire control or other assistance;
c. emergency operation or curtailment
of power, water, gas and other serv-
ices;
d. control or containment of taxies, ex-
plosive gases and other dangerous
commodities; and

e. search for survivors.

812. Determine requirements for conducting
emergency actions including:

a. personnel;
b, transportation;
c. heavy duty equipment such as boats,
trucks, earth movers and others; and
d. portable hand tools and other
equipment.

813. Establish procedures for carrying out
emergency actions including:

a. organization of rescue squads;

b. placement of personnel and equip-
ment for conducting emergency activi-
ties.

c, coordination arrangements for iden-
tifying needs for assistance and re-
sponding to calls; and
d. maintenance of communications.
